Our Competition Teams

Try outs

Our Competition Teams are organized into five distinct groups, categorized by age and skill level to ensure a tailored and competitive experience for each dancer. Participation in tryouts, held annually in June, is mandatory for eligibility to join a team. This marks the beginning and end of our competitive season. Importantly, every dancer who auditions is guaranteed placement on a team, with specific team assignment and dance styles determined during the tryouts.

Petite Competition Team (Ages 5-6):

Dance Style = Hip Hop or Jazz (Determined by Director)
Two competitions per year

Junior Competition Team (Ages 7-9):

Dance Styles = Hip Hop and Jazz
Three competitions per year
Recital

Tween Competition Team (Ages 10-12):

Dance Styles = Hip Hop, Jazz, and Contemporary
Four competitions per year

Teen Competition Team (Ages 13-15):

Dance Styles = Hip Hop, Jazz, Contemporary, and Lyrical
Five competitions per year
